Constructs are otherwise inanimate energy and/or matter imbued with life by magical means. They can be living rocks and/or minerals, or based on everyday objects such as sophisticated earthenware.

This kind of creature is easy to confuse with others. Objects possessed by disembodied essences are undead. If organic material is (even partially) revived, but survives on biological metabolism, it's a full-fledged organism. Finally, units that operate themselves electronically are robots.
