Medals

Medals are special awards for one's performance in stages. Apart from a hollow one for completing a stage, there are bronze, silver, and gold medals.

Time Attack

Most stages require beating a boss to complete. Medals are given for completing the stage within a limited amount of time.

Endless

In an endless stage, better medals are awarded for surviving longer. Below them, there must be a separate minimum time for beating the stage.
